We have a potential fix for the controller icon / UI issue, although as we haven't encountered it personally, we really need someone who has, to test it before we make updates for the whole series.
Quell Free version 1.76 on Google Play, has the potential fix in it. Can anyone download it and see if the issue is fixed? Thanks in advance.

It is hidden one tile away from the starting position of the pushable spike - right & down diagonally from it.
You'll need to use the pushable spike in order to get to it though!

We have been receiving the crash reports, thanks for that, although unfortunately we haven't been able to figure out the problem from these alone.
It sounds like you've already tried the usual solutions, so we're at a bit of a loss as to how to fix this.
The only difference we can think of between your phone and our test phone is the OS version, so we'll try to upgrade it to 2.3.6.

There is a known issue with the pearls leaderboard on the original Quell on Google Play, which we are working on a way to fix.

The gold and silver rings move the raindrop from one location to another. So going through a gold ring will move the raindrop to the other gold ring. The raindrop will always exit the ring moving in the same direction as when it entered.

Hi, the time pieces cannot currently be revealed through the hints menu, before or after completing the levels. However, if you know which timepieces are missing (level name or which hour it represents) we can provide hints ! Thanks

There's no need to access it as such. If you select the locked level, (or stage / chapter), it will ask if you want to unlock it with the skeleton key. Sorry that this wasn't clear.
