We haven't experienced this before, and have had no other complaints from thousands of iPad3 users. We'll look into it, but my suspicion is that this might be one of those things that goes away after a restart, or perhaps after uninstalling and reinstalling the device. Give that a try, and we'll let you know if we can think of anything else to try.

thanks for this bug report. At the risk of making an obvious suggestion, have you:
1) Checked music and sound effects sliders are both turned up in the Options menu
2) Tried other games (to ensure it is a Quell problem, specifically)?
Is it Quell, or Quell Reflect that has the bug?

1. Clear Google Play store cache from within Settings > Manage Applications.
2. Unlink the Google account from the device and then re-add it.
Step (1) usually fixes this strange problem!

When playing the game, if you press the 'Pause' button, followed by 'Hints', this will allow you to access the Hint for that particular puzzle.
If you'd rather not use your in-game 'coins', simply go to https://www.youtube.com/user/fallentre... and type the name of the level you are having problems with into the box labelled 'Search Channel'.

Game progress is not currently stored remotely. This may be something we look at in the future.

We are pleased to annouce that, after some technical problems that saw Quell and Quell Reflect unavailable for purchase from the Apple App Store, both games have been restored and are now available again.
