Crashes while loading on my Galaxy Ace

I get to the "profile A" icon, then it crashes. Have sent reports.

Sorry to be a pest, but I'm a big Quell fan who has been waiting for Memento!

Thanks for the reports. We've checked them but are still unsure what is causing it so we're in the process of obtaining a phone matching your specs so we can fix this. It'll take a few days for the phone to reach us, but hopefully we'll be able to test it by next week!

Our test phone is a GT-S5830 but has a slightly older version of Android on (2.3.3). The game seems to work though on this phone, which makes it harder to track down the issue.

Could I check about these questions:

* Did it run the first time, or does it always crash at profile icon?
* Have you tried restarting the phone?
* Did you purchase it from the Google Play Store or Amazon appstore?

To answer your questions:

It always crashes just after the profile icon loads.

I've tried everything I could think of. Restart phone, uninstall/reinstall, remove a bunch of other apps to make sure of space, uninstall/clear memory cache/reinstall, and uninstall/clear memory cache/restart phone/reinstall.

Purchased from Google Play. I live in Central America and can't buy digital media from Amazon.

My phone has always been a bit squirrelly, so that may be the problem. I'd have returned it, but warranty service in this area basically consists of taking your item away for six weeks and maybe fixing it.

The phone always asks if I want to send a crash report, which I've done several times. Does that go to you or to Samsung?

We have been receiving the crash reports, thanks for that, although unfortunately we haven't been able to figure out the problem from these alone.

It sounds like you've already tried the usual solutions, so we're at a bit of a loss as to how to fix this.

The only difference we can think of between your phone and our test phone is the OS version, so we'll try to upgrade it to 2.3.6.
