How do I use skeleton key I have purchased?

I have purchased a skeleton key but don't seem to be able to access it

Hi Lola

There's no need to access it as such. If you select the locked level, (or stage / chapter), it will ask if you want to unlock it with the skeleton key. Sorry that this wasn't clear.
