At least now I have an idea why my screen changes to (and keeps) showing A, B, and X identifiers on my nook tablet HD.
I bought Quell Memento through Barnes & Noble for nook just a few weeks ago & got the "controller" indicators on the screen during my second game. It looked and acted like a programming bug; I can't exit (Back out of) the game when they are on. Restarting my nook might get me one game without them. I only have touch interface, so I don't know why they come up, but other areas of the game also exhibit self-movement (without me interacting with screen) as others indicate here.
