Really good balance of difficulty

Graham 14 years ago updated by Lewis Boadle 14 years ago 1
Just coming to the end of Quell Reflect (having finished Quell) and thought I'd drop a word of praise. I thought the balance was really good -- some early levels were "obvious" so you didn't get discouraged; several levels, with a bit of "forethought" had only one "viable" way of solving (but sometimes finding the shortcut to get a perfect score kept you on your toes). Very few levels (e.g. "Sorry") forced you into almost random exploration.

More please!

'Search Party' level on my Kindle Fire Quell Reflect says 42 is perfect number of moves, but video example of solution shows 45. Why?

Joye Bauer 12 years ago updated by Lewis Boadle 12 years ago 1
I've been able to solve the puzzle, but not in the number of Perfect Moves. After trying for a while, I found the video solutions on YouTube. I watched and that example says 45 is the perfect number of moves. I'm wondering why my version states differently...

Quell not saving "Levels perfect" progress & unlimited coins glitch

MalusNox 12 years ago updated by Lewis Boadle 12 years ago 3
Quell is not saving "Levels perfect" progress. I'm playing on a Google Nexus 5 running Android KitKat (4.4). Last night I had earned perfect scores on every level of the first 2 shelves (all gold checks & gold frames), even earned the perfect shelf trophy, before I exited the game, tonight I went to play again & upon starting I found all the gold perfect marks missing. Fortunately it saved the jewels I found, but under progress "Levels perfect" is 0/88, another odd thing is if I replay a level & score perfect again it gives me another coin like I never perfect it before even though the previous moves number is the same. This behavior repeats every time I exit & restart Quell, the "Levels perfect" progress isn't saved but the number of coins earned is, so one is potentially able to earn unlimited free coins.

Quell ignores phone volume setting

Quell Player 13 years ago updated by Svatopluk Novak 13 years ago 3
This happened on my Galaxy Nexus phone with Android 4.2.2. When starting Quell while my phone is set to silent mode the volume setting is ignored and Quell plays sounds and music anyway.

This is really bad practice and should be changed.

Quell Makes Me Happy

Quell was the first app I ever downloaded (Kindle Fire), and is still my favorite (or "favourite," if you like). Thank you for creating and supporting this awesome game, can't wait for Memento!

I've played Quell Memento only. Are there more games?

Absolutely. Both Quell and Quell Reflect are available on iOS, Android (Google and Amazon), Blackberry and Nook, developed and self-published by Fallen Tree Games.

Game Won't Load on Rugby Pro

J Nguyen Knight 13 years ago 0
I've purchased the Quell Memento game through the Amazon App Store and have downloaded it. But when I launch the game it comes up with the title page and then freezes for about 30 seconds and then kicks me out of the game. Please help me get this to work on my Samsung Galaxy Rubgy Pro.
