It would help but the Bear Trap puzzle in the Quell Reflect version is a bonus  I am playing has (2) movable blocks.  One is stationed near the starting point in direct line of the other. Since you need one to block the spike, you need to move the other up out of the way.  I can do it but only with 21 moves not 20.  This game was available thru Nintendo E-shop for 2DS/3DS.
Any other thoughts?
