can a level have 2 gems?

Just started my new quell memento game yesterday. LOVE IT!! My question is, some levels have 2 'spots' for gems. Does that mean there are 2 gems in those levels?

Hi Cathy, there is only one jewel per level. The slot you are seeing is for the Timepiece portal...
